The company, headquartered in Madrid, Spain, is engaged in the manufacture, distribution and export of raw materials and intermediates for the pharmaceutical market. It was formed in 1985 out of the reorganization of an important Spanish pharmaceutical group with almost 100-year tradition in the European pharmaceutical market. The company specialises in producing antibiotic, penicillin derivative, cardiocirculatory, antineoplastic, and anti-arthritic products. Its product categories include azithromycin monohydrate, alprazolam, ampicillin sodium and sulbactam sodium sterile mixture, auranofin, azithromycin dihydrate, chloromethyl sulbactam, ketazolam, mitoxantrone hydrochloride, nimodipine, oxatomide, procaterol hydrochloride, subactam pivoxil, sulbactam sodium sterile, sultamcillin base, sultamcillin tosilate, zopiclone, and amorphous azithromycin. The company's factory in Silvota has a production capacity of 70,000 litres, including glass-lined reactors (up to 6,000 litres), stainless steel reactors (up to 3,000 litres) and glass reactors (up to 200 litres). Its products are exported to the United States, South America, Turkey, India and European Union region.
